About Pilates With Arabelle
I am passionate about Pilates and I recommend it to everyone. I can adapt exercises to cater for individual needs and abilities. Whether you are super fit or new to exercise Pilates is for you!
The way I teach has been greatly influenced by my work with osteopaths, podiatrists and physiotherapists. I tailor each session for the individuals in front of me. Most people I meet have tight shoulders either from the stress of their job or from sitting over a computer. The 6 Pilates principles of concentration, centering, control, breathing, precision and flow help to de-stress, release, restore proper movement and strengthen the body.
Statistically 95% of people in the UK have suffered from lower back pain at some point in their lives. By looking at posture and correct movement patterns while strengthening the core I will teach you tools to help you deal with back pain. As you get stronger hopefully back pain will become a thing of the past!
Pilates targets the deep postural muscles, building strength from the inside out, rebalancing the body and bringing it into correct alignment. It helps to reshape your body, which will become longer, leaner and more toned. It will also improve your posture, achieving the perfect balance between strength and flexibility, and it is a great way to relieve unwanted stress and tension.
