Mini-Retreats
"The mini retreat in June was incredibly helpful . The 2 Pilates sessions (myofascial release followed by a session focussing on postural alignment ) worked really well together and I learnt lots of new techniques . The group was small so it was easy to ask if I needed further instructions . The venue was cool and airy and the food was absolutely delicious . All in all it was a very enjoyable morning . I would definitely consider attending further workshops organised by Arabelle."

"I attended the mini-retreat on 21 June at the Barn at Dane End Christmas Tree Farm. This was a fantastic morning consisting of two sessions of Pilates followed by a lunch and a chat with the other attendees afterwards. The first session was a deep release of the muscle groups of the body. The second session was a relaxed Pilates session moving minimally but with great effect. I left feeling taller and stronger and very satisfied with my morning. I look forward to doing another such session."

"What a super Mini Retreat. Highly recommend you try one. Great Myofascial Release session (felt truly stretched out) & Sound Bath (very relaxing). Lunch was delicious. Well done Hunt & Forage - scrumptious. Delightful walk around grounds of Hatfield House with a friendly bunch of people. Many came as pairs or group but this was a very welcoming group of people. Well organised event in truly beautiful location. Can't wait for the next one 😀"

"I have been attending these classes on a weekly basis since January this year (2016). I find Arabelle is a very patient and gentle instructor with a good sense of humor! She keeps a close eye on how you perform each movement and gently corrects my bad technique, and gives encouragement when I get it right,.....or at least do it better than it was! 😉 I am a lady over a certain age, with a physical limitation and find some exercises difficult, Arabelle can readily advise on adjustments to suit my personal needs. This is also true for other ladies in the group as well. In addition to the typical Pilates exercises, we use what I consider to be a quite a wide range of small items of equipment. For me this makes the class experience more interesting. I can also monitor my own progress by how well, (or not) I perform with these aids. No two weeks are the same. The program is always varied and the hour really does go so quickly! If you are not sure if Pilates is 'your thing' Arabelle generously offers a first complimentary session!!"

"After years of manual work, sports injuries and the start of aging, Arabelle has prepared & kept me fit enough for skiing, recovery from a dislocated shoulder & with a new hip in October has got me back to fitness, again. I was a skeptical beginner but now a keen advocate. Arabelle teaches and encourages with calm, considerate enthusiasm. During the group classes she is aware of our abilities or inabilities but coxes us to push ourselves. Thank you."

She is a very qualified lady, and with all her experience it shows with every class she teaches. I have osteoarthritis in most of my joints and I totally trust Arabelles way of teaching. She has a enormous understanding of how your body works, inside and out, and what is the best practice for you as an individual. I feel very safe with her teaching. I look forward to going to her classes every week, and which is great, we always do something different each week."

"I have attended Pilates classes for many years and am delighted to have found Arabelle for a 1-to-1 session in her home studio each week. At the start, she took great care to gain as much information as possible about my medical history, and she listened carefully to my concerns about my neck problems and to what I hoped to achieve. She explains each exercise clearly, watches and encourages, has incredible knowledge of the equipment she uses, and I really appreciate the difference she is making to my mobility and core strength. She is interesting and fun, and the hour simply flies by!"
